Graduation in one month!

Twenty years of life. Is there supposed to be a book of rules or accomplishments that you need to have done then or do you have to figure it out yourself? Does someone have to tell you what to do or by now are you "grown up enough" to make your own decisions? This really makes me wonder, have I done what I'm meant to do. Did I follow the right dreams and am I ready to go out into the world and make a living? What are the things that I didn't get done in this 20 years, that I have to do in the next? My mom told me yesterday that she is very proud of me and what I have accomplished. It is so nice to be able to follow a dream and make something of it. It is wonderful to have someone who believes in me and wants to follow out my dreams with me the rest of my life. Every year older, I think you figure out what it means to be more of a grown up, just by living, starting to pay bills and wanting to build a future for yourself and someone that you love. As Chris and I are planning our wedding and talking about buying our first home, I have realized that I am growing up and becoming an adult.

I don't understand how people think they can take advantage of college kids. I understand that an intersnhip is supposed to be a learning experience, but you are working for them also. Now I have to find a different place to go to. The point of going somewhere is to learn from the trainer, that means you are working with them. Riding by myself all day really won't accomplish much! Plus, $50 a week doesn't amount to anything when your working 60+ hours a week. I'm just mad cuz I wanted to stay locally and not have to move. Hopefully I find a place close by.
